👇 Read their reflections below!
– What do you appreciate about your role as a delegate in EATA?
“As a Finnish association (FinTA) delegate in EATA, I appreciate the opportunity to connect with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and work together to address common challenges in the field. It’s a privilege to represent FinTA and have a voice in the decision-making process. I have also felt it is important to convey to the Finnish association the experience of belonging to a wider community and to share information about new developments in TA across Europe. Being part of EATA allows me to contribute to shaping the future of TA and to make a real difference.”
– What do you appreciate about working as a delegate for EATA?
“I value the collaborative environment of EATA. Working alongside other delegates allows me to share knowledge, learn from others, and develop new perspectives. As a delegate, I have had the pleasure of participating in sometimes challenging tasks—first as a member of the PTSC and then as a member of the EC. I have been grateful for the trust placed in me and the opportunity to grow through these responsibilities. The chance to engage with experts in the TA field has been invaluable. I am proud of the work we have done in EATA and in the EC, for example, in reaching our members through free webinars. I have been grateful for the enthusiasm with which our members have been willing to present their work and inspire others voluntarily and without compensation. This work has been truly rewarding. EATA has provided me with a platform to grow both personally and professionally, and I hope I have also been able to give something back in return.”
