Our dear Robin Hobbes is now retiring from his position as the EATA Ethics Advisor

Dear colleagues,
Our dear Robin Hobbes is now retiring from his position as the EATA Ethics Advisor. Robin has served the EATA TA community for 10 years, addressing various ethical issues with compassion, calmness, and patience, consistently demonstrating his TA expertise and ethical knowledge. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for his invaluable contributions and let him know that he will be greatly missed.

What does Robin say?

“I’m now leaving my role as the ethics advisor to EATA. I’ve done this job for ten years and am grateful to all the various people who have helped me. We have created good enough structures to manage complaints in a way that respects all involved when such matters arise. We have put in place processes that greatly aid EATA and it’s affiliated organisations maintain and manage good practice – an organisational complaints procedure and a review procedure concerning affiliated organisations and their complaints processes. At the same time we have all learnt a tremendous amount concerning ethical matters. Tense and difficult times have blended with easy and fulfilling times and now the role is in the good hands of Sabine Blumenstein. With sadness and satisfaction I go …. Thank you.”

Warmly
Robin

Thank you Robin!
