EATA Webinar – TA’s best practices

Last week during the EATA webinar we had a chance to get to know the thoughts of three qualified transactional analysts. Warm thanks to you Ronen Stillman, Olena Kovalchuk and Ugo Danilo De Ambrogio for being willing to share your expertise with our TA community.
This versatile workshop was the third in our series “TA’s best practices”. And as always, Leilani Mitchell served as a competent host throughout the evening.

Ronen presented his interesting thoughts on the use of technology. Considering digital immigrants and digital natives and how our attachments to our digital devices can impact us and our work. Ronen invites us not to make this good or bad but to remain curious and open.

Olena presented ways on how we can help our clients, who suffer from guilt, shame and self-anger, to work with their inner critic, “4 steps of working with Inner Critic”.

Ugo introduced seven middle management styles, which he has named 1.) Distance from the role, 2.) Shy and “fragile”, 3.) Team defence, “trade unionist”, 4) Busy, 5) “Iron sergeant”, 6) Everyone’s friend and 7) Secure base leader. At the end Ugo talked about the relational attention, the I+, You+, THEY+ and characteristics of the “secure base leader”.

These webinars really bring out the versatility of TA. It was nice to have people from different parts of Europe who joined us.

Thank you all
Warmly, EATA EC
