#checkinginwithdelegates project – Valentyna Zakharchenko – Ukraine Delegate

We are delighted to introduce Valentyna Zakharchenko, the new Ukrainian delegate of UATA. In the #checkinginwithdelegates project, she tells us what motivated her to become a delegate and what is especially important to her in this role.

“Being a delegate is, for me, a dream, a mission, and a responsibility. I have long aspired to become a delegate in order to communicate with colleagues from various European associations, discover new opportunities, and creatively explore ideas and solutions.

At the same time, this role is a special mission: Ukraine is moving toward European integration, and our association is doing a great deal within its field to support this process. It is important for me to be engaged and active in continuing to build bridges with European organizations, standards, and values.

Finally, I feel confident that I have the energy and ability to be effective in this role. I possess the skills and experience needed to organize meaningful cooperation between our association and the European community.”
