What motivates EATA delegates in their roles? What do they value most about being part of this international network?

We asked one of our delegates, Tanja Krist from Slovenia, to share her personal perspective — and here’s what she had to say:

What do you appreciate about your role as delegate in EATA?

As a delegate in EATA, I get to be a bridge between Sloventa and the wider European TA community. Through this connection, Sloventa gains access to shared knowledge, professional standards, and international collaboration. I love being part of this exchange — staying connected, learning from each other, and growing together. What I appreciate most about working as a delegate for EATA is the chance to connect with colleagues from different countries who share a passion for TA. I enjoy the rich conversations, learning from each other, and building real friendships across borders. It gives me a sense of belonging to a wider community and inspires me to contribute to something meaningful together.
