Social Commitment Taskforce

During the council in Dublin, a new task force, Social Commitment, originated. The purpose of the work of this task force was to actively address the values of our Common mission statement; to bring them to life.

Over the past months the task force has been working on further formulating definition, mission, strategy and structure.

The results and conclusions were presented during the Council meeting in Varna in July.

The taskforce presented a strategy that opens a space for exchange and social involvement with each other, our communities and our planet.
Council reacted with positive Strokes, it was an inspiring presentation with an activity that created actual social encounters during the Council of 2024.

The taskforce also declared that it has completed it’s work. Therefore, the taskforce requested for withdrawal to have a vote.

The taskforce concludes that the Common Mission Statement is an expression of key EATA values and that all committees along with the EC should consciously recognize this in their work.
In other words, we express gratitude towards the ones that we collaborated with during the Council.

We also express confidence that we will continue implementing these core values and that more actions will follow from each individual and their community.
