📅 On Saturday, the traditional EATA March meeting took place online, as it has in recent years, helping us save resources while still bringing everyone together. It was a truly pleasant, collaborative, and productive meeting of the EATA Executive Committee, Chairs of Committees, as well as the Ethics Advisor and the EATA Newsletter Editor. The whole meeting had a very positive atmosphere, and a great deal of work was accomplished. 🤝✨ In addition to the committee reports—clearly demonstrating that the committees are on fire with their work 🔥—the EATA Strategy Group, led by EATA’s Operations Officer, introduced a new way of working with projects and initiatives within committees and across the organisation. 📣 Call for Language Coordinator – UK We are seeking PTSTAs or TSTAs who are interested in taking on the role of Language Coordinator – UK, following the excellent work carried out by the previous LC-UK, Helen Rowland. 🌟 We would like to extend our sincere thanks to her for the outstanding job she has done. 👏💐 We are looking for someone who is available to: 👂 listen to written examination candidates, 📩 promptly forward the necessary information and all required materials, 🤝 demonstrate patience and understanding in responding to requests, and ⚡ reply swiftly to any enquiries. It is important to maintain contact with other Language Coordinators in order to: 🔄 share information regarding forms, deadlines, and related matters. Twice a year, the Supervising Examiner organises an LC meeting, providing an opportunity to: 🤝 collaborate, 💬 exchange information, and 🌍 remain in contact. New Episode of TAP is Live! On this month’s new episode of the Transactional Analysis Podcast, hosts James and Parul are joined by Lorena Adami, a Transactional Analyst and counsellor based in Italy to explore how she integrates cinema, storytelling, and TA in her work. Lorena shares how her background in film and media led her to develop what she calls “CineCounselling” Together, they explore how metaphor, scenes, characters, and shared cultural reference points can help clients (and groups) find words, create the right distance when needed, and expand perception in the counselling context. 🕯️ February 24 is a Day of Remembrance, Mourning, and Hope for a peaceful and safe life for Ukrainians. 💙💛 On this day each year, members of the Ukrainian Association for Transactional Analysis (UATA) come together to support one another, to honor those who were killed in Russia’s war against Ukraine, and to remember the most difficult moments in our history. The final days of February remain especially painful, marking a time of violence and terror of an unprecedented scale directed against the Ukrainian people. Sadly, for the fifth consecutive year, we — members of UATA, as well as others, — continue to seek ways to live and work under the difficult conditions of war and constant threat to life. Yet, despite these circumstances, our community continues to grow: the number of UATA members has increased from 250 to more than 500 — a powerful testament to resilience, solidarity, and hope. 🌱 We are proud of our belonging to the European community and of upholding humanistic values. We continue to learn and develop in order to provide qualified professional support to those who need it most. ITACA invites you to their Lavarone Seminar 2026 – Geometries of Identity Adolescence and young adulthood are suspended times—transitional spaces in which identity takes shape not as a fixed structure, but as a constantly evolving design. Geometries of Identity is an invitation from ITACA to explore shifting territories, lines that break and reconnect, and forms that seek a possible balance. It is a time of redecision, in which the life script is rewritten through the ongoing dialogue between the inner world and external reality—between what has been and what is not yet named. Questions arise before answers, asking to be explored, revisited, and sometimes supported within an ever-renewed contract between the individual and their context. The gaze turns inward, toward deep processes seeking coherence, continuity, and meaning. At the same time, it opens outward to a rapidly changing world shaped by digital technology, new relational configurations, and social, geopolitical, and environmental transformations that profoundly impact subjective experience and redefine its boundaries. Within this space of complexity, ITACA offers a place for listening and reflection—a space to pause amid uncertainty, to recognize the new geometries of identity, and to consider the challenges they pose to each of us today. On January 30th, I, Mara Scoliere, and Sylvie Rossi, representing the PTSC, had the pleasure to lead the WEW in Rome at the IRPIR headquarters, where we welcomed guests. We had 38 participants—TSTA, CTA TS, PTSTA, and CTA—from various cities, representing all the Italian Associations. After long consideration, careful reflection, and an extensive search for the right solution, we are proud to introduce the new EATA logo 🎨 The new logo was designed by our webmaster, Javier Cormenzana, in close collaboration with the Communication Committee 🤝 It was selected from several proposals through a process involving National associations’ delegates, presidents, and the Executive Committee, whose feedback and perspectives were an essential part of the final decision. While the original EATA logo carries deep historical value and represents an important chapter of our shared identity, we believe that the new logo reflects who we are today — a modern, dynamic, and evolving European association with an open and connected outlook 🌍 The updated design no longer features a map of Europe, acknowledging the fact that EATA now reaches beyond its original geographical borders and connects professionals across a wider European and international context. The EATA Communication Committee has been strengthened by a new delegate from Finland, Marjukka Rintamäki✨ In addition to welcoming her to the committee 🤝, the CC discussed a range of current and relevant topics, primarily focusing on the upcoming EATA 50th anniversary celebrations 🎉, new joint webinars with ITAA 💻, the development of a new common EATA house style 🎨, the work of the Communication Strategy Group 🧭, and ongoing social media projects 📱. The committee also addressed day-to-day matters, such as website maintenance 🌐, email communication ✉️, and other operational tasks ⚙️. We wish Marjukka a happy start and look forward to working together 🌟😊

EATA ECC meets to discuss new initiatives within EATA and beyond, aimed at strengthening connection across EATA. ✨ The members of the ECC have planned a full and inspiring agenda for 2026, with a strong focus on extending cooperation between committees 🤝 During and after the meeting, colleagues shared ideas, exchanged perspectives, and discussed new initiatives aimed at the further development of connection and collaboration within EATA 🌍💬 Looking ahead, the ECC also planned follow-up meetings with representatives from other committees, ensuring that shared ideas are transformed into concrete actions and meaningful outcomes 🚀🛠️ We wish them lots of enthusiasm and fresh ideas as they move forward 🚀
