In this edition of our #CheckingInWithDelegates series, Gohar shares her experience as the Armenian delegate to EATA and reflects on what it means to connect, contribute, and be part of the wider EATA community. 💬🌿🤝 "The course of our lives is largely determined by meetings with people; each encounter being a gift and an opportunity to learn something new. The first step on one of the roads of my life — the adventure called EATA — was my visit to Rome in 2009 to take part in an EATA Council meeting. Since then a very important aspect of being a Delegate for me has been the opportunity to meet people. Their generosity has inspired my work in EATA throughout the years. Participating in this process involves mutual action: we receive and give support; we ask for opinions and share our experiences. I am grateful to all the colleagues for the steps taken toward each other, for the diversity of interactions and for the full range of emotions we experienced.“

Being a delegate in EATA means belonging to something far greater than any single country or language – the gift of working with people from different cultures, traditions and professional backgrounds, all connected by transactional analysis and by a shared care for the people and communities we work with. Over the years I have first been a member of the ECC and now of the PTSC, and through each of these roles I have found the same thing: connection. Listening to my own community, bringing its voice to Europe, and carrying back the richness of everything we build together.
