Share your expertise in “Socially Related Projects”

Dear colleagues, the EC has chosen “Socially Related Projects” as the theme for EATA-organized webinars in 2025. If you’re working on socially oriented projects or know colleagues who are, we encourage you to share your expertise! Please submit your proposal by November 29, 2024, to vicepresident-rpiiroinen@eatanews.org .

EATA will host three webinars in 2025: two in spring (March 24 and May 27) and one in autumn (October 29), all at 18:00 BST (19:00 CET). Due to budget constraints, we won’t be able to provide interpreters in 2025. However, local associations can arrange and cover interpretation costs if desired. Zoom’s automatic translation captions are also available for some languages. Therefore, presenters must be comfortable presenting in English or arrange their own interpretation.
When submitting your proposal, please specify whether you prefer a 20-minute or 40-minute presentation. We’ll select the final projects for presentation by the end of January 2025 at the latest. You’ll be notified regardless of selection. We also collaborate on EATA+ITAA webinars, so if your proposal seems like a better fit for that format, we might recommend it there.

The webinars will be hosted once again by Leilani Mitchell (TSTA-P), known for her professionalism and warm presence.
