PTSC have decided (28 May 2025) to amend the length of the Training Proposal Outline (TPO) for the Training Endorsement Workshop (TEW)

PTSC have decided (28 May 2025) to amend the length of the Training Proposal Outline (TPO) for the Training Endorsement Workshop (TEW). Until now it has been limited by the number of pages. PTSC have now updated this to be a word limit as follows:

📃From 28 May 2026 TPOs written in English or German have a maximum word limit of 6,500 words, while those written in French or Italian have a maximum word limit of 7,150. Other language equivalents cannot exceed the maximum word limit of 6700 words.

📃 Word limits include words used in diagrams, pictures and tables and excludes the references/bibliography list(s).

The TPO should be typed using Arial or another accessible font, minimum font size 12, with double line spacing.

The word count has to be declared on the front page of the TPO.

📃Until 28 May 2026, TEW candidates may choose between adhering to the existing page limit with the current formatting, or using the new word limit, which reflects updated font size and line spacing.

📃Section 10 of the handbook has been updated with this new information.
