Online International Trainers Meeting – June 20, 2025

Dear Colleagues,
Thank you to those of you who gave your responses regarding a possible trainers meeting in Montpellier in 2025. We have given your responses a lot of thought and have decided that, mainly due to financial and logistical reasons, we will not hold a face to face meeting in Montpellier.

We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Victoria Baskerville, who has invested her time and effort into preparing for this event. Your dedication and enthusiasm are deeply appreciated, and we regret that we will not be able to benefit from your valuable contributions at this time.

Instead, we will hold an International Trainers Meeting online on 20th June 2025 starting at 8am UTC until 12 noon UTC (four hours). We have chosen this date as it is a few weeks before many colleagues take their annual holidays. By holding the meeting online it is more inclusive and accessible, enabling more colleagues to attend. We are considering holding such a meeting twice a year, again to enable more opportunity for colleagues to attend.

We appreciate that for some of you this may be disappointing as you’d like to meet in person, and were looking forward to contributing to the event. We are also aware some of you have already changed your plans in order to be able attend the proposed meeting and apologize for any disruption or inconvenience this change of plan may cause.

We will be in touch later in the year, likely in November, about the proposed outcomes of the online meeting and inviting you to sign up if you wish to do so.
