EATA Presidents Meeting – Nov. 22–23, 2025 -Valladolid (Spain)

The workshop of the EATA Presidents Meeting was organised this year by the President of APPHAT (Spain) and took place on November 22–23, 2025, in Valladolid (Spain). 🇪🇸✨
The goal of the Affiliated Presidents Platform is to enhance cooperation between EATA as an organisation and its affiliated associations. EATA started a pilot project in 2021, and the effectiveness and quality of this project will be evaluated after four years, in 2025.

The meeting was attended by the presidents of the national associations of Romania, Czech Republic, Germany, Austria, France, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Hungary, Italy, and Spain, with the
presence of the President of EATA in the role of observer. During the meeting, a cooperative sense of community emerged as the attendees discussed common problems for which different solutions had been developed in other Associations. 🤝

For now, the platform remains one of few spaces where the Presidents can directly voice their views and the needs of the Associations.

Key areas of cooperation were defined and discussed, including: best practices, ethical issues,
TA regulation, development of active membership, crisis management, issues related to governing bodies, and self-sustaining activities such as publishing and creating educational materials. General and other relevant issues that will be important for further coordination and
work were also recognised. 📚✨
