EATA President’s Note – Sylvia Schachner
This is the beginning of the President’s Note from the 144th EATA Newsletter, in which Sylvia Schachner, the EATA President, offers her reflections on recent achievements, including strengthening EATA’s visibility, improving the website, and successfully organizing the World TA Conference in Montpellier. She also addresses the financial challenges caused by rising costs, which required stricter travel regulations, adjusted meeting dates, and careful budget management. Looking ahead to her second term, she outlines plans to further enhance communication, maintain high exam and training standards, support the new strategy group’s work on organisational development, and celebrate EATA’s 50th anniversary.
