Promoting TA knowledge and research on Transactional Analysis is in the core of EATA. This is why we have a long tradition of investing time and money in research and support of publications. Since it was established in 2010 until 2017, EATA was the main financial contributor to IJTAR/P. Despite various attempts, including assigning a preliminary budget to continue the support of the journal, IJTARP was not able to continue the relationship with EATA.

Other areas where EATA invests in research and publications are the financial support of the Transactional Analysis Journal (TAJ) for the next five years, starting in 2019. The EATA Theory Development and Research Committee, one of our longest running committees, structurally invests in research with grants and other means. In collaboration with the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP), EATA contributes to a dedicated issue of the International Journal of Psychotherapy (IJP) on Transactional Analysis.
